Mission. Within the corporate world that one word means "Purpose, assignment, delegation, calling, goal, aim, objective, duty, task, job, charge or undertaking."  Within the focus of our church, mission is outreach to others by sharing the love of Christ with others through giving of our time and talents. Sharing our Blessings with others. Opportunities to participate include local missions such as the Moses Basket, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Avenues and Habitat for Humanity. Through Presbytery we also support Shiloh Children’s Home, Stubbins Presbyterian Home and Cornerstone Ministry.

During Christmas season there are many opportunities to participate. Some are local sharing our blessings with members of our church, our community and others far from our local community.

The Undecorate the Parlor Christmas Tree project will focus on a new program to serve some of our "own". This program is confidential and the Mission Committee members are very excited about it.   Please make your contribution by placing it in an envelope and place it under the tree or in the Church Office.

The Annual Collection for Mission Families is underway. The needs for families will be listed on the bulletin board in the hallway. Please sign your name next to the gift you plan to bring. Please label your UNWRAPPED gift for the family and family member (ex. Family "A", "B", "C" etc. boy – age ??: girl – age??)  Please place your gifts in the Parlor closet. We also wish to provide wrapping paper and food items. The deadline for bringing your gifts is Sunday, December 16^th.

We pray the Committee has provided you with a wide range of giving opportunities and that on e will be appealing to you. We hope these opportunities to share your blessings with others will in turn further bless your life.
